Wimbledon—Daniil Medvedev sees magnificence in Carlos Alcaraz's brutality.

Reigning US Open champion Alcaraz is extra ruthlessly environment friendly ending factors off shorter balls, Medvedev stated.

The attacking Alcaraz's jolting power can push opponents back behind the baseline setting up space for his damaging drop shot, which he can carve out off either wing.

Alcaraz confirmed all of that snapping Medvedev's 19-match profitable streak with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph within the Indian Wells last final March that propelled the Spaniard again to world No. 1.  

In their lone grass conflict, Medvedev swept a younger Alcaraz 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 on the 2021 Wimbledon.

When reigning US Open champion Alcaraz faces former US Open champion Medvedev tomorrow, he hopes to use classes realized from their first SW19 conflict.

"He's playing great here on grass," Alcaraz stated of Medvedev. "He has a great, great year as well. I lost the first match we played here on grass. So I have to learn about it...

"Well, he is actually full participant. I'm going to say, I feel Rublev stated just a few occasions, he is an octopus. He catch each ball. It is wonderful. He's a tremendous athlete. I feel a mixture of all the things. He does nearly all the things nicely."
