Sean "Diddy" Combs has stated CCTV footage displaying him attacking singer Cassie in a resort hallway in 2016 is "inexcusable" and that he's "disgusted".

"It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that," the rapper stated in a video on Instagram.
"I was f***** up - I mean I hit rock bottom - but l make no excuses. My behaviour on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it. I'm disgusted now.
"I went and I sought out skilled assist. I bought into going to remedy, going to rehab. I needed to ask God for his mercy and beauty. I'm so sorry. But I'm dedicated to be a greater man every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm really sorry."
The 54-year-old, whose properties in Los Angeles and Miami have been raided by Homeland Security Investigations brokers in March, has confronted a sequence of public allegations of bodily and sexual violence.
Footage obtained by CNN this week reveals Combs - also called P Diddy and Puff Daddy - sporting solely a white towel as he punches and kicks Cassie in a Los Angeles resort hallway on 5 March 2016.
The footage additionally reveals Combs shoving and dragging the singer and throwing a vase in her course.
Cassie, an R&B singer whose authorized title is Cassandra Ventura, was his protege and girlfriend on the time.
