PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Michael Lorenzen threw a complete-game no-hitter Wednesday towards the Washington Nationals.

The Phillies received 7-0. Phillies left fielder Weston Wilson homered in his first main league plate look.

The 31-year-old Lorenzen was an All-Star this season for Detroit earlier than the Phillies acquired him on the commerce deadline for a minor leaguer. He promptly threw a season-high eight innings of two-run ball in his Phillies debut final week.
