LOS ANGELES — California’s lieutenant governor and different elected officers on Tuesday urged Taylor Swift to postpone her Los Angeles live shows as a method to stand in solidarity with placing resort staff.

Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis and dozens of state and native politicians signed an open letter telling Swift that her tour makes the area’s inns cash, with some properties “doubling and tripling what they charge because you are coming.”

Meanwhile, the letter stated, many housekeepers and different resort staff can’t afford to reside near their jobs and a few sleep of their automobiles and threat dropping their properties.

“Hotel workers are fighting for their lives. They are fighting for a living wage. They have gone on strike. Now, they are asking for your support,” they wrote. “Stand with hotel workers and postpone your concerts.”

Starting Thursday, Swift is scheduled to carry out six sold-out exhibits at SoFi Stadium close to Los Angeles. Her representatives didn’t instantly reply to an e-mail searching for touch upon the letter.
