Police in Portland, Oregon, arrested over two dozen folks as a part of a sting operation focusing on retail thieves, authorities mentioned Monday.

The 25 suspects taken into custody over the weekend resulted in 16 felony prices, police mentioned, with a further 15 misdemeanor warrants serviced.

Authorities mentioned they recovered 4 stolen automobiles, three weapons, unlawful medication and over $24,000 in money.

The suspects had been 24 to 51 years outdated. They had been charged with offenses comparable to theft, theft, hit and run, unlawful gun possession and try and elude.

Portland police have been cracking down on organized retail crime.
