WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Wimbledon is being performed indoors once more on Day 3 of the grass-court match.
Rain once more affected play on Wednesday, forcing matches on the surface courts to be suspended after lower than a half hour of motion.
Only two of the stadiums on the All England Club have roofs — Centre Court and No. 1 Court.
Top-seeded lady Iga Swiatek and defending males’s champion Novak Djokovic had been each scheduled to play on Centre Court after the opening match between Daria Kasatkina and Jodie Burrage.
On No. 1 Court, third-seeded Daniil Medvedev was taking part in Arthur Fery.
Only eight matches had been accomplished at Wimbledon on Tuesday due to persistent showers, creating an enormous backlog for the match.
On Wednesday, gamers like Swiatek and Djokovic might be taking part in within the second spherical whereas many gamers have but to even take the court docket within the first spherical.
