Sir Keir Starmer will attempt to persuade commerce unions to again his inexperienced power plans after bosses publicly criticised his coverage of banning new oil and gasoline developments within the North Sea.

Speaking on Sky News' Sophy Ridge on Sunday programme, Mr Smith said Labour's policies "are going to create a cliff edge with oil and gasoline extraction from the North Sea".
