Sir Rod Stewart has mentioned he needs to offer extra free MRI scans for NHS sufferers however "can't get any response".

Sir Rod paid for members of the general public to have scans in a cell unit on the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex in February.

"I'm not going to show up and be photographed, I just wanted to do it."

Talking about Boy George, Sir Rod mentioned: "We go back a long way, we've had some fun times together.

"I am unable to wait to get with him. He's a beautiful fella and I do know he loves me too - it is love all spherical."
