Seven individuals, together with a seven-year-old baby, had been killed when gunmen stormed a vacation resort in Mexico.

Armed males shot three males and three ladies, in addition to the kid, on the La Palma resort within the small city of Cortazar within the central Mexican state of Guanajuato.

One particular person was critically injured within the assault on Saturday afternoon.

The space has been more and more affected by drug cartel violence with rival teams battling to regulate territory and trafficking routes within the state.
