A loud growth within the Washington DC space which residents of the US capital stated shook homes and appeared like an explosion was brought on by navy jets which had been scrambled to cope with an airspace violation.

US officers have confirmed that the sound was the sonic growth of fighters pursuing a lightweight plane that had entered restricted territory over the US capital.
