DALLAS β Southwest Airlines has added former U.S. Senator Roy Blunt, a Republican from Missouri, to its board of administrators.
Blunt, 73, spent 14 years within the U.S. House of Representatives and served within the Senate from 2011 till leaving workplace in January because the fourth-ranking Republican. He didn't search reelection final 12 months.
Since April, Blunt has labored at Husch Blackwell Strategies, a Washington, D.C., lobbying agency that additionally employs his son and former aides. The agency mentioned Blunt would give attention to advising purchasers and didn't plan to register as a lobbyist.
