The FBI is trying to find a Houston-area financial institution robber who authorities have dubbed the “Sticky Note Bandit.”

The man robbed two banks July 5-13 by dressing as a girl, passing to the teller a threatening sticky observe demanding cash and leaving with the loot.

Federal brokers mentioned the robber took undisclosed quantities of money from a Hancock Whitney Bank in northwest Houston on July 5 and a Wells Fargo Bank in southwest Houston on July 13.

The robber tried to carry up a Wells Fargo in east Houston on July 11, however the teller locked themselves in a safe room after receiving the sticky observe. The robber quickly left with none cash.

The FBI mentioned the robber is a 5-foot-8 Black man with a skinny to medium construct. He wore a black wig, black sun shades, a blue medical masks, a inexperienced ladies’s sweater, black ballet flats and a black purse throughout his final two robberies.
