WASHINGTON — The White House was briefly evacuated Sunday night whereas President Joe Biden was at Camp David after the Secret Service found suspicious powder in a standard space of the West Wing, and a preliminary check confirmed the substance was cocaine, two regulation enforcement officers mentioned Tuesday.

Secret Service brokers have been doing routine rounds on Sunday after they discovered the white powder in an space accessible to tour teams, not in any specific West Wing workplace, the officers mentioned. The officers weren't licensed to debate an ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on situation of anonymity.
