Tucker Carlson broke two days of media silence after parting methods with Fox News Channel Wednesday night by issuing a video message on social media.
He posted the 2-minute, 16-second clip at 8 p.m. EDT, the identical hour he’d usually be on Fox News.
The clip didn't instantly handle his leave-taking from Fox or the explanations for it.
But he did finish the video, which known as most political debates on TV “unbelievably stupid” and “irrelevant,” with a declare that so long as the reality could be heard, it is going to win.
“When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who have been trying to silence them, shrink and they became weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe, true things prevail,” Carlson acknowledged.
“As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon,” he concluded.
