TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — Tunisia’s president has sacked the nation’s prime minister, who was the primary lady to carry that job in an Arab League nation.

A short assertion from the presidential workplace late Tuesday didn't give causes for the dismissal of Najla Bouden Ramadhane. President Kais Saied had appointed the engineering college professor as Tunisia’s first feminine prime minister in September 2021.

Her substitute is retired central financial institution director Ahmed Hachani, who was sworn in Tuesday evening.
