CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill despatched out an alert Monday afternoon warning of an “armed, dangerous person on or near campus” and urged individuals to go inside and keep away from home windows.
Campus officers didn't instantly reply to an electronic mail in search of extra particulars in regards to the report.
Video from the scene confirmed a heavy police presence on campus. Classes began final week on the state’s flagship college.
