MILAN — Police in Venice are investigating the supply of a phosphorescent inexperienced liquid patch that appeared Sunday within the metropolis’s famed Grand Canal.
The governor of the Veneto area, Luca Zaia, posted a photograph of the inexperienced liquid that unfold via the water close to the arched Rialto Bridge. The patch was reported by residents.
Images on social media present a shiny patch of inexperienced within the canal alongside an embankment lined with eating places.
Zaia stated that officers had requested that the police examine to find out who was accountable. Environmental authorities had been additionally testing the water.
