Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav mentioned all of Hollywood wants to come back collectively to resolve the strikes and return to work as quickly as doable.

At Goldman Sachs’ Communacopia + Technology Conference on Wednesday, the chief government mentioned the key to ending the strikes is communication and teamwork.

“We’re a content company, we’re a storytelling company. We need to do everything we can to get people back to work,” Mr. Zaslav mentioned, including, “Everybody is ready to get back to work, us in particular.”

According to some estimates, WBD has misplaced upward of $500 million because the strikes started and just lately lowered its annual earnings steerage from $800 million to $500 million.

The Hollywood labor battle started in May when the Writers Guild of America took to the picket traces to protest what it referred to as unfair wages and insurance policies within the leisure trade. The Screen Actors Guild’s 160,000 members joined the strike in July.

The actors and writers need improved revenue sharing with the studios, enhancements to residual funds and modifications to how synthetic intelligence is used within the leisure trade.
