Initially, there have been rumours that the Sheffield-based band Pulp was the key act, with one Twitter consumer writing: "When something is churned it becomes Pulp."

Should Foo Fighters hit the stage, it is going to be their first time taking part in Glastonbury since 2017.

The group needed to pull out of the occasion two years earlier after Grohl fractured his leg at a Swedish gig.
