WOLVERHAMPTON, England — Wolverhampton employed Gary O’Neil as its supervisor on Wednesday in a speedy response to the departure of Julen Lopetegui simply days earlier than the beginning of the brand new Premier League season.

O’Neil returns to the English high flight seven weeks after being launched by Bournemouth, regardless of defying expectations by holding the south-coast crew within the Premier League.

The 40-year-old O’Neil replaces Lopetegui, the previous Spain and Real Madrid coach who left Wolves on Tuesday due to a breakdown in his relationship with membership officers amid its reported monetary issues.
