She mentioned: "I can buy a rotavator and I can do it myself and I haven't got to rely on people... I can actually just crack on with it myself and that's a massive help.
"I can get all the allotments sorted and we will get this working; it is going to be so good for our group, we actually do want it."
Ms Burd added: "The messages get to me probably the most as a result of somebody's taken the day out to sit down and really write that and it means an actual lot to me.

"One message I'd prefer to share to folks is: simply be variety."
