WARSAW, Poland — Hundreds of girls in Poland protested outdoors police stations Tuesday to oppose the allegedly ruthless manner officers handled a lady who had taken an abortion tablet.

The protests in Krakow, Warsaw and another cities had been supposed to indicate solidarity with the lady and to sentence police shaming practices.
