In a press release on Sunday, Manchester United stated it “acknowledges the allegations made against Antony”.

The membership stated it condemns acts of violence and abuse, including it recognises the “importance of safeguarding all those involved in this situation”, and “acknowledges the impact these allegations have on survivors of abuse”.
