More than 60 individuals are feared useless after a ship carrying principally Senegalese migrants capsized off the coast of Cape Verde within the Atlantic Ocean.
The boat is believed to have departed Senegal with greater than 100 migrants on board in early July.
It was discovered with 38 survivors and several other useless on board close to the Atlantic island, authorities and migrant advocates have mentioned.
Senegal’s Foreign Affairs Ministry mentioned the boat was found on Tuesday by the coast guard in Cape Verde, about 385 miles off the coast of West Africa.

The Spanish migration advocacy group Walking Borders mentioned the vessel was a big fishing boat, referred to as a pirogue, which had left Senegal on 10 July with greater than 100 migrants on board.
Families in Fass Boye, a seaside city 90 miles north of the capital Dakar, had reached out to Walking Borders on 20 July after 10 days with out listening to from family members on the boat, group founder Helena Maleno Garzon mentioned.
Cheikh Awa Boye, president of the native fishermen’s affiliation, mentioned he has two nephews among the many lacking.
“They wanted to go to Spain,” Mr Boye mentioned.
