Pakistan: Fatalities confirmed and dozens injured after Karachi to Rawalpindi prepare derails

At least 30 individuals have been killed and 60 are injured after a prepare derailed in Pakistan.

The incident befell close to the city of Nawabshah within the southern Sindh province, officers have stated.

The Hazara Express was travelling from Karachi to Rawalpindi when its 10 carriages went off the observe, they added.

Railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique stated: “Ambulances are rushing towards the scene.

“An emergency has been declared on the Nawab Shah and Sukkur hospitals.”
