LONDON (AP) — U.K. Defense Secretary Ben Wallace formally submitted his resignation on Thursday amid hypothesis that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will title his successor later within the day.

Wallace, who mentioned final month he would resign earlier than the following Cabinet reshuffle, ended 4 years within the submit wherein he oversaw the navy response to the battle in Ukraine.
